You likely have more issues than just the boot.ini being corrupted.  If you can, slave that hard drive to another system and scan it for malware.  You can also copy all the data off of it while it is in the other system.  Once all the data is off of it I would recommend a fresh install.</description>

		<description>when i tried to rebuild the ini it gave me an error of failed may be caused by a corrupt file system use chkdsk which i did several times but no fix...doing chkdsk /p showed one or more files bad...any suggestions? I have a constant rebooting prob when it gets almost to the load screen...safe boot gives me a blue screen as well....
